Veteran singer-songwriter Lenny Kravitz is the new brand ambassador for Swiss luxury watch maker Jaeger-LeCoultre. The composer of tracks like Are You Gonna Go My Way, Fly Away’ Again, American Woman etc. has always been defiantly original in his music, drawing inspiration from a variety of sources including rock, blues, funk, and soul, fusing them all into a unique and constantly evolving musical style that is matched by his distinctive and individualistic personal style. No wonder then that he has, over the years, also earned the reputation of being one of the most well-dressed men in the world, known for his effortless rockstar style that is an elegant blend of the 1970s bohemian influences and contemporary chic.

 

 

Kravitz has also been a watch enthusiast since childhood, when he first became fascinated by his father’s chronographs. The legendary Reverso has been a particularly important part of Kravitz’ considerable watch collection. He even wore one at his recent performance at the 2023 Oscar Awards ceremony. In many ways this makes his new partnership with Jaeger-LeCoultre all the more appropriate. “Beyond the function of a watch, style is very important – how it looks and the way it fits on your wrist. You have to really connect with it,” Kravitz says, “my Jaeger-LeCoultre pieces feel like they have always been there – they blend with me and their style is absolutely timeless. You can really make these watches your own and when you want to change the mood, change the vibe, they always fit. It’s as if they become one with you.”

Kravitz will be seen with fellow Jaeger-LeCoultre Ambassador Anya Taylor-Joy in the brand’s new advertising campaign which will be released in the coming weeks.
