Gameplan: ArgentinaExpect Lionel Scaloni to play with three defenders and two wingbacks. It worked against the Netherlands, and they looked secure until they decided to drop this plan and just defend the final ball. Angel di Maria, if fit, will get into the playing XI.

Gameplan: CroatiaThe Croatian midfield dominated their Brazilian counterpart, but things won't be as easy against Argentina. Moreover, the ordeal of playing over 120 mins of games twice in a few days must have taken a toll on their players. But if the trio of Modric, Kovacic, and Brozovic are totally fit, they should fancy themselves.
