Powering it is still the same 204PS electric motor with a 60kWh battery pack, which claims to deliver an ARAI-certified range of 521km.

In terms of charging, BYD claims the Atto 3 can be topped up from 0 to 80 per cent in 50 minutes using a fast charger.

The company also offers a warranty of 8 years or 1.6 lakh kilometres for its battery and 1.5 lakh km coverage on its motor.

Additionally, BYD will provide you with a 3-year 4G data subscription for free, along with 6-year roadside assistance, and 6 free maintenance services.
