BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine Launched In India At  Rs 57.90 Lakh

BMW launched the new 3 Series Gran Limousine facelift today. Available only in the long-wheelbase trim, prices of the sedan start from Rs 57.90 lakh and go all the way up to Rs 59.50 lakh (ex-showroom).

Mechanically, the 3 Series remains the same with either a 2.0-litre diesel or petrol motor powering the crossover sedan. They make 192PS and 261PS of power respectively, with the M Sport package being offered as standard now.

The updates come in the form of design changes, with slimmer headlamps at the front accompanied by L-shaped LED daytime running lights. Dominating the front is the new updated kidney grille, with a redesigned bumper and larger air intake.

Coming to the dimensions, the 3 Series gets a 110mm longer wheelbase than its predecessors at 4,823mm.

BMW has also overhauled the interiors a bit with BMW’s curved 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system taking the centre stage here, along with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.

Feature-wise, the 3 Series now comes with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, three-zone climate control and more.

Despite its now larger size, the crossover is quite light on its feet, with the petrol variant (330Li) completing the 0-100kmph sprint in 6.2 seconds (claimed). Meanwhile, the diesel (320Ld) does the same in 7.6 seconds (claimed).

The 2023 BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine will compete against the Mercedes-Benz C-Class (rs 57.20 lakh) and the Audi A4 (Rs 43.85 lakh) (both, ex-showroom India).
