BMW has given its X5 and X6 SUVs some much-needed updates, before their launch in India this year. But before you get excited, the changes are minor, relating to only a few cosmetic upgrades and a few mechanical changes.

For starters, both the SUVs now get the company’s re-designed front bumper with sleeker headlamps and dual arrow-shaped DRLs which also double up as turn indicators.

At the rear, the LED lamps now get an X-shaped motif and that’s about it. The rest of the design including the 19 and 20-inch alloy wheels remain standard.

The bigger X6 now comes with the M Sport package as standard and hence features blacked-out elements like the new kidney grille along with an L-shaped air intake.

On the inside, things are a little different with a massive dual curved glass display housing both the 12.3-inch infotainment system and a 14.9-inch driver’s aid display.
