BMW has had a busy couple of days so far. After unveiling the eight-gen 5 Series sedan, the company has now launched the updated Z4 Roadster for Rs 89.30 lakh (ex-showroom).

The bimmer will be available in its M Performance trim called the BMW Z4 M40 and will be brought to our shores as a CBU unit, with deliveries starting from June 2023.

Updates here include a slightly reworked front end with redesigned air intake, contoured side sills and a new 19-inch alloy wheel setup.

On the inside, the Roadster gets leather and Alcantara interiors with M-specific blue contrast elements, along with M sports seats, leather steering wheel and more.

Other highlights include a 10.25” digital instrument cluster, with optional goodies like an adaptive headlamp, M-branded seat belts, comfort access, a driving assistant, active cruise control and a head-up display.

Additionally, optional features also include a high-end Surround Sound system from Harman Kardon with 12 loudspeakers.

Power here comes from a three-litre, six-cylinder in-line petrol engine which makes 340PS of power and 500Nm of torque, propelling it from 0-100kmph in 4.5 seconds.
