Today marks Google's 25th birthday, and as tradition has it, the firm’s out with a really cute Google Doodle—a temporary alteration of its regular logo. Try checking out the cutesy Easter eggs that appear on your screen upon hitting search or translate) or better yet, simply search, hum or translate "happy birthday" on Google's products today to see an uber-cool confetto raining down across Google's screen.

Celebrating Pizza, Because Why Not?Remember the “Celebrating Pizza” doodle that was dropped on December 6, 2021? For the uninitiated, the template routed users to a pop-up game upon clicking on the pizza-themed logo, challenging players to slice up various pizzas in such ways that enabled one to get the toppings they’d want. While the game gathers pace as one progresses with each level, the doodle template in question and the game continues to be one of the most popular offerings till date.

Doodle for GoogleEach year since 2008, Google has been holding an annual Doodle fest for K-12 students in the U.S. In addition to having their artwork featured as the Google logo, winners bag a scholarship for themselves and a technology package for their school. The 2022 prompt focussed on self-care, and what it meant to them. And well, the winning entry (pictured above) earned the artist a $30,000 scholarship and their school received a tech package valued at $50,000.

30th anniversary of Pac-ManPac-Man enjoys a cult following like it’s nobody’s business. On May 21, 2010, Google converted its logo to an interactive doodle that mirrored a classic Pan-Man on the occasion of the game’s 30thanniversary. Also known as the first interactive Google Doodle, the Pac-Man template holds an important place in Google’s history.

122nd birthday of Charlie ChaplinGiven his signature style, slapstick yet epic comic timing and charm, what’s there to not like about Charlie Chaplin? Off the camera, however, Chaplin led a life that was peppered with trials and tribulations, including being exiled from the U.S. for 20 years. On the occasion of his 122nd birthday, Google paid tribute to the comedian by displaying a short silent film featuring Chaplin’s lookalike who attempts to doodle a picture of his own.
