5 Games Rumoured To Be Showcased At The Game Awards 2022

Santa and Christmas aren’t the only things to look forward to this December. The highly-anticipated Annual Game Awards are set to commence tomorrow. This means, along with the usual list of winners and losers, we’re also set to get exclusive first looks at some of the most hyped games for 2023. Here’s what we’re expecting.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2  The follow-up to largely raved Spider-Man 1, the sequel has been in the works in Insomniac’s labs for quite some time now. With the brief teaser coming out back in September 2021, this year’s Game Awards is expected to bring us a full-fledged trailer, or even a release date.

Diablo 4  Despite being confirmed for a 2023 release, little is known about Diablo 4. However, reports have come out suggesting that we may get a new trailer tomorrow, along with more information on the release date and pre-booking bonuses.

Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth  A direct sequel to 2020’s Final Fantasy 7 Remake, a lot is riding on Rebirth, being the second instalment in the Remake trilogy. Developed for the Playstation 5, rumours indicate that we may get a closer look at the gameplay mechanics tomorrow.

Elden Ring DLC  While the main game is in contention to be crowned GOTY tomorrow, we are also expecting From Software to drop some additional information on the highly-anticipated DLC. Until then, stay patient, ye tarnished!

Unknown Hideo Kojima game  We’ve known for a while that Kojima is tinkering around with something in his studio in Japan. Of course, in his typical fashion, no information has been released so far, except for a mysterious poster. Could we be getting an official announcement tomorrow?
