Volkswagen Taigun   Up to Rs 80,000  The German brand is offering a discount of a whopping Rs 80,000 depending on what variant you buy. The 1.0-litre Comfortline variant can be availed with benefits of Rs 30,000, while the other 1.0-litre variant gets benefits of up to Rs 55,000. The highest discount is offered on the 1.5-litre GT manual trim, with Rs 80,000.

Tata Harrier and Safari  Up to Rs 60,000  Tata is currently offering a total discount of Rs 60,000 on the Kaziranga Editions of both the Harrier and the Safari. This includes cash discounts worth Rs 20,000, along with an exchange bonus of Rs 40,000. All the other variants (except for the Jet Edition) can be availed with a Rs 40,000 discount.

Maruti Suzuki S Presso  Up to Rs 56,000 off  The hatchback gets a tempting discount of Rs 56,000 on its manual variants. This includes a cash discount of Rs 35,000, an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000 and a corporate discount of Rs 6,000. The automatic, on the other hand, can be availed with a Rs 46,000 discount, including Rs 25,000 cash discount.

Maruti Suzuki Dzire  Up to Rs 52,000 off  Probably India’s most popular sedan, the Dzire can be had with a discount of Rs 52,000 on its AMT variant. This entails Rs 35,000 in cash discount, Rs 7,000 in corporate discount and an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000. The manual trim though comes with a total discount of just Rs 17,000.

Maruti Suzuki Celerio  Up to Rs 51,000 off  With a discount of Rs 51,000 on its manual variant, the Celerio is one tempting buy this season. The Rs 50,000 figure is split into - Rs 30,000 in cash discount, Rs 6,000 on corporate and an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000. The AMT version gets an overall discount of Rs 41,000.

Renault Triber    Up to Rs 50,000 off   The only sub4-4 metre MPV on offer, the Triber is available with a total discount of Rs 50,000, including cash benefits of Rs 15,000 and exchange benefits of Rs 25,000 along with a corporate discount of Rs 10,000.

Maruti Suzuki Swift   Up to Rs 47,000 off   While it may not enjoy the same popularity as before, the Swift AMT could very well be a popular choice this season, with a total discount of Rs 47,000. This includes cash benefits of Rs 25,000, a corporate discount of Rs 7,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000.

 Honda WR-V   Up to Rs 39,300 off   Honda rarely offers benefits on its range, so consider yourself lucky. The WR-V can be bought with around Rs 40,000 worth of discount benefits – Rs 10,000 cash discount, Rs 12,300 worth of free accessories, and an exchange bonus of Rs 7,000 which comes with an additional Rs 10,000 discount.

Honda City (Gen 5)  Up to Rs 37,900 off  The fifth-gen Honda City can  be yours this Diwali, with benefits of up to Rs 38,000.
