5 Highest-Selling Big Bikes In December, 2022

Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R (33 units)  Touted as India’s most affordable superbike, the ZX-10R unsurprisingly lead the charts with 33 units sold in the last month of the year. Now offered in a Metallic Diablo Black colour and a sporty Lime Green shade, the ZX-10R undercuts all of its competitors with a very tempting price of Rs 15.99 lakh (ex-showroom)

Kawasaki Z900 (30 units)  Yet another Kawasaki on the list, the Z900 has been a crowd favourite for over a decade now with its value-for-money proposition. The in-line four motorcycles sold 30 units last month, each retailing for Rs 9.02 lakh (ex-showroom) while coming with basic modern-day updates like all-LED illumination.

Triumph Tiger 660 (19 units)  Triumph’s most affordable ADV, the Tiger 660 seems to have hit the right spot in the minds of consumers. Despite being over a lakh and a half (Rs 8.95 lakh), more expensive than the Versys it managed to outsell Kawasaki with a narrow edge of just one unit.

Kawasaki Versys 650 (18 units)  The middleweight ADV has had a resurgence of a sort, selling closer to 20 units in a month, after it was updated last year with a modern design and additional features. Despite the mild refresh, the Versys 650 still remains an affordable offering at Rs 7.54 lakh (ex-showroom).

Triumph Trident (16 units)  Coming to the second Triumph bike, the Trident has so far been successful in carving a niche for itself with a neo-retro-inspired design and an equally peppy engine. In December alone, Triumph sold 16 units of the Trident, each retailing for Rs 7.54 lakh (ex-showroom)
