After losing the first T20I to substandard bowling and an abysmal show from top-order batters, India will now aim to level the series against New Zealand in the second T20I in Lucknow. Failing to win tonight will cost them the series.

Head To Head RecordNew Zealand's 21-run win in the first T20I was their 10th against India. Both teams have faced each other 23 times, and have won ten apiece. New Zealand's victory in Lucknow will not only take them ahead in the overall head-to-head record, but will also secure an unassailable lead.

Team News  - IndiaNeither of the top-order batsmen, consisting of Rahul Tripathi, Shubman Gill, and Ishan Kishan could step up to the occasion. This brings Prithvi Shaw into the mix, who is yet to make his T20I debut. Jitesh Sharma might also make his debut, replacing an inconsistent Deepak Hooda.

Team News - New ZealandBen Lister, the young left-arm pacer poised to be a long-term replacement for Trent Boult, might play his maiden T20I in Lucknow. He will be replacing Blair Tickner. New Zealand are unlikely to make any changes in their batting order.
