Shardul Thakur's form at the international level hasn't yet translated to Indian Premier League 2022. After losing Kagiso Rabada and Avesh Khan, Delhi needed reinforcements in their bowling department. They pinned their hope on Shardul Thakur, who has failed to impress with both bat and ball. In 8 T20s, he has amassed 88 runs and claimed 4 wickets.

Tim David is among the hottest commodities in T20 cricket. He plays T20 cricket around the world, and is more than able of changing the fate of the game on his own. However, he hasn't yet flourished in the IPL. He managed 13 runs in two games before Mumbai Indians dropped him out of the playing XI.

Shahrukh Khan's extraordinary hitting ability powered Tamil Nadu to a Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2020-21 championship. There was a glimpse of his talent in IPL 2021.
