Kanye West Gets Dropped By Multiple Brands Over Antisemitic Remarks

Kanye West is in hot waters for quite a while now. The rapper went on to post numerous antisemitic comments in early October on Twitter, which have been now deleted. This has made multiple brands cut ties with the fashion designer.

Instagram & Twitter Blocked  After his antisemitic tweets, the rapper was blocked from Twitter and Instagram for spreading hate speech. Meta, Facebook and Instagram's parent firm confirmed that the rapper’s Instagram was restricted and all of the content had been removed. West also made controversial comments on Tucker Carlson Tonight, the podcast Drink Champs, and NewsNation’s Cuomo.

Balenciaga Cuts Ties With YeBalenciaga's parent company Kering confirmed the split with a statement: “Balenciaga has no longer any relationship nor any plans for future projects related to this artist”. In return, Ye responded with “God runs the world. We perform only for God. We serve only God. God bless.”

Ye’s Talent Agency CAA Drops Him  West’s talent agency, CAA stopped representing him from last month, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The talent agency represented West for touring only. He signed with the agency in 2016 and has not toured since.

Adidas Ends Long-Term Partnership  The sports apparel giant announced that the company is cutting ties with the rapper over his antisemitic remarks and will be ending the production of Yeezy-branded products.

His Streams Are At An All-Time Low  According to reports by Variety, the latest data from Luminate indicates that the albums by Ye are down 23 per cent and airplays have dropped off to 13 per cent in the USA. The worldwide sales have declined by 17.5 per cent, while streams dipped by 2 per cent.
