New-Gen Hyundai Creta Launched At Rs 11 Lakh

After months of hype, Hyundai has officially launched the new-gen Creta starting at Rs 11 lakh, with prices increasing to Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom), depending on the variant you’re choosing.

Speaking of which, there are now 19 different variants of the SUV, each getting a design update with a revised front and rear styling. Additionally, the split headlamps are now positioned a little lower on the bumper.

On the inside, the Creta now gets an updated dashboard with dual 10.25-inch screens, one acting as an infotainment system while the other as a digital driver’s display, similar to the unit seen on the Alcazar.

Feature-list here now includes a powered driver’s seat, dual-zone climate control, a new 360-degree camera, a Bose sound system and more. Additionally, you also get the ADAS safety suite with 19 different functionalities.

Powering the new Creta are three different engine options - a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine (162PS), which replaces the 1.4-litre turbo-petrol unit of the last-gen. Other than this, the older 1.5-litre petrol and diesel motors remain changed.

In terms of competition, the Creta facelift will compete against the Citroen C3 Aircross,  Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and more.
