This begs the question, what makes the Cullinan Black Badge worth the money, or why does it come at a premium of Rs 1.25 crore over the standard model? We find out.

Starting with the obvious changes here, the Black Badge gets a black chrome finish on the Spirit Of Ecstacy, grille, boot handle, boot trim, exhaust pipes and frame finish.

Additionally, the SUV comes with 22-inch dual-tone forged alloy wheels with red brake callipers, which are exclusive to the model.

This is in addition to the nearly 44,000 colour schemes, or the option of creating a bespoke hue, the standard Cullinan offers to its customers.

This level of customisation is carried on the interiors as well, with the Black Badge additionally gaining an ‘infinity’ emblem on the door sills, dash-mounted analogue clock and the rear seat armrest upholstery.

Then there’s the bespoke carbon fibre veneer on the door pads, dashboard, and centre console, with 1,344 fibre optic lights on the inside of the roof to replicate the night sky.

There are some mechanical upgrades here as well. The Black Badge gets the same 6.75-litre twin-turbocharged V12 petrol motor but now makes 600PS and 900Nm of torque. An increase of 29PS and 50Nm respectively.

Other mechanical changes include improvements to the suspension and braking system. Rolls Royce also claims that the SUV gets an all-new exhaust system, for a more deep and bassy note.
