7 SUVs At Auto Expo 2023 Expected To Launch In India

Maruti Suzuki Jimny   Perhaps the biggest show-stopper at the event, Maruti Suzuki's 5-door Jimny, is set to be launched in May, with a 1.5-litre petrol engine, making 105PS of power and 134.2Nm of torque.

Hyundai Ioniq 5  Also making its debut on our shores was the Ioniq 5. For Rs 45 lakh, Hyundai’s new all-electric flagship offers top-shelf features and ADAS functionality. Its electric powertrain is good for 233PS and a range of 481km!

Tata Sierra EV  Tata’s popular offering from the 90s, the Sierra will make a comeback in 2025 in electric form with a major overhaul. While we don’t know the exact specs yet, expect it to carry the same battery pack as the Nexon Max, offering nearly 437km of range.

Tata Harrier EV  Stealing the show alongside the Sierra was one of Tata’s most popular modern-day SUV offerings, the Harrier EV. Showcased as a near-production electric offering, the Harrier EV is expected to launch by 2024.

MG Hector Facelift  MG launched the 2023 Hector and Hector Plus at prices ranging from Rs 14.73 lakh to Rs 22.43 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUVs gets a big design overhaul, a segment-leading 14-inch portrait-oriented centre display and ADAS features.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx  With a Grand Vitara-inspired design, the Fronx will be offered in both 1.0-litre Boosterjet turbo petrol and 1.2-litre Dual Jet petrol motor, which make 100PS and 90PS respectively.

2023 Kia Carnival   The fourth-gen Carnival was displayed with updates in every department, from design, and interiors to features. However, Kia is yet to confirm if we’ll actually see the updated Carnival in India. If launched here, it is likely to carry the same internals as the last-gen model.
