Virat KohliVirat Kohli is the most experienced Indian batter in the lineup, having played the most number of T20Is, scoring 451 runs at an average of 64.42. Kohli is well acquainted with the pace and bounce of Australian pitches, and his hitting range against high pace will be crucial for India.

Rohit SharmaRohit Sharma has featured in nine T20Is in Australia, second only to Kohli. He has scored 180 runs at a rather pedestrian average of 25, and his highest score is 60.

Rishabh PantRishabh Pant played three T20Is in Australia four years ago in 2018. A lot has changed since then, as Pant's batting has significantly improved, and he has now much better game sense. But Pant is unlikely to be in the first-choice playing XI.
