First images of the Toyota Innova Hycross are finally here, before its launch on November 25th, and boy are we excited about the all-new MPV! Here’s why.

Design-wise, the Hycross seems to have ditched its MPV looks for more of an SUV appearance, with an upright nose, a large hexagonal grille and a wide front bumper.

The re-designed headlamps now feature a wider profile, neatly integrating into the front grille. Looking from the side, you will also notice creases running across the width of the car and merging with the wraparound tail lamps.

There’s no denying that the Hycross appears to have a big profile, measuring 4,755mm in length and 1,850mm in width. While the wheelbase now stands at 2,850mm with a ground clearance of 185mm.

Peeking inside, the interiors of the Hycross couldn’t be more different than the Crysta, with two 10-inch and a 9-inch dual-touchscreen setup taking the centre stage. There’s also a 4.2-inch multi-info display unit for driver’s aid information.

Feature-list here consists of LED DRLs, a large panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, a 360-degree camera, ambient lighting, quilted leather seats and more.

The higher variants also come with four USB-C ports, a second-row climate control system, an electronic parking brake and multiple drive modes. The variant sold in Indonesia also comes with dual 10-inch screens for the second row, which we hope will make it to India as well.

Toyota has also equipped the Hycross with ADAS tech, which includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Collision Warning and more.

Power here comes from a 2.0-litre petrol engine, which comes mated to a fifth-gen strong hybrid tech. It churns out 188PS of power and 187Nm of torque.

There’s also a non-hybrid version of the MPV, which gets the same 1987cc engine and makes 176PS of power and 197Nm of torque, mated to a CVT gearbox.
