When an artist, knifemaker, gunsmith and a motorcycle mechanic (among others) decide to launch a brand, you can be sure that the results will be interesting. Von Dutch, launched by the late artist Kenny Howard, is one such brand. Founded in 1999, and after creating waves in the USA, Von Dutch now debuts in India through the fashion website Fashionara.com. Arun Sirdeshmukh, Co-founder & CEO, Fashionara.com says, “We are excited to be the first Indian online retailer to offer Von Dutch products. Von Dutch is an iconic brand and has a huge following across the globe. Von Dutch fans can now visit Fashionara and buy their favourite pair of shoes at the click of a button!”
Von Dutch, meaning “stubborn as a Dutchman” gained popularity in the US and attracted the attention of celebrities like Madonna, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Ashton Kutcher and Eric Church. Started as a brand for VIPs, it is now aimed at anybody who values craftsmanship and creativity. The brand includes shoes, apparel and accessories.
