In a striking combination of black and red, this limited edition divers watch model was created for the Swiss team at the recent football world cup. It features engravings of footballers on the pleochroic dial with the logo of the Swiss Football Association. Other notables include automatic helium valve and unidirectional rotating bezel in stainless-steel with black and red ceramic inserts and a robust rubber strap. On the case back is an intricate engraving of a football together with the name of the player.

The reworking of the iconic watch comes in a 41 mm diameter steel case with an anthracite coloured dial. It is powered by a self-winding mechanical movement with a power reserve of 68 hours and is water-resistant to 50 metres.
IWC Ingenieur Automatic Carbon Performance Ceramic
The 46 mm diameter case and the dial of this automatic sports watch is made from carbon, a material inspired by Formula One, which IWC has been closely associated with as part of the Mercedes AMG Petronas team. The ceramic in the bezel, the screw heads, crown, crown protection, titanium for the screws and case-back ring, rubber for the underside of the strap with its calfskin inlay, and the green thread on the strap are all inspired by Formula One.

Rado Hyper Chrome Ceramic Touch Dual Timer
Built using the characteristic Radomonobloc case, this watch features two hands on the main dial that display the local time and two hands on the small dial at 6 o’clock that show the second time zone. The main time display is set using sensors at the top of the case. For time adjustment, the finger has to be slid along the left hand side of the case to change the hours, and on the right hand side to change the minutes. The minutes on the two time zones are synchronised to guarantee accuracy, and both minute hands will move during time setting on the main dial.

The watches in this series are distinctive whether three handed or the chronograph. The 43 mm stainless case for both models is enhanced by the graphic crown guard. The dial in silver or black, surrounded by a black unidirectional rotating bezel, features oversized hour numbers. On the dial, the flange displays military time, and the blue hour hand and minute hand is covered with luminescent material. Red adorns the second hand, the Victorinox shield at 12 o’clock, and the hands on the two chronograph counters.

This watch with its aluminium features and smooth synthetic strap features a chronograph with add/split/lap function. Powered by a quartz movement and is water resistant to 100 metres.
