What are some of the latest accessories to experiment with at a tropical location?

Men’s accessories have seen a huge boost in today’s fashion landscape, and there are multiple trends to choose from. Y2K accessories are perfect for tropical locations—beaded necklaces, rings, bracelets, and caps, like a baseball cap or the bucket hat, are great ways to accessorise and complete your outfit.

Coloured and gender-neutral jewellery for men can be a great way to accessorise for any man looking to experiment with their accessories. If you want to keep it low-key and personal, you can accessorise with silver or gold chains, stack up a few bracelets, and add a watch to complete your look.

This month, my partner and I plan on travelling to a humid destination. What are some of the style essentials for the same?

Comfortable and breathable fabrics are essential for humid regions. Cotton and linen shirts are weather-friendly, and are easy to style with shorts, denim, or linen pants. Add some accessories to help the look stand out.

Bermuda shorts layered with a T-shirt or an overshirt are style essentials for this season. There are multiple options in printed shirts, T-shirts like florals, plaid, textured, graphics etc. that are a great way to incorporate the latest trends. You can style them with denim and sneakers. Lighter and pastel shades are summer-friendly and are easy to style with shorts or denim. Slides and slip-ons are great and comfortable when travelling, and there are a variety of options to choose from.

Which trends from the runway will dominate this season, and how to wear them daily?

Printed pants like denim, cargo, shorts are my personal favourite trends, and are easy to style. Indian designers like Jaywalking, Huemn, Shivan & Narresh, Nirmooha, and brands like Levi’s, Scotch And Soda have a variety of options to choose from. They can be styled with a basic T-shirt, fitted or oversized in neutral colours, to balance the print out. You can also try solid oversized shirts in fabrics like silk, and add a jacket if you want a layer. Sneakers and boots are a great way to accessorise this look.

I wish to invest in a good pair of flip flops. Can you suggest cool homegrown brands?

Moo Chu is a brand I’ve come across recently where you can even customise your flip flops, and they have a variety of options to choose from. Solethreads is another homegrown brand with a variety of flip flops options.

I recently bought mesh shirts, but I don’t know how to style them properly. What tips do you suggest?

Mesh shirts can be tricky to style, and are best worn when layering. Add a leather jacket with your black or white mesh shirt to create a monochromatic look. Another fun way to wear this trend is by wearing it with your suit for a hint of mesh in your formal look. Depending on how much of the mesh would you want to reveal, you can either button up your jackets, or leave them unbuttoned for an all mesh/sheer look.
