With the 5-day fashion extravaganza coming to a close, we reminisce about everything that caught our attention this fashion season. From Amit Aggarwal debuting menswear to Kunal Rawal’s groom wear, the designers put forth their best this season. To summarise it better here are the menswear designers whose collections we loved. Amit Aggarwal 

The designer launched his first menswear line in association with NEXA encapsulating modernity with edgy metallic detailing and sophisticated cuts. From jackets to bandhgalas in silver, greys and radiant black, the collection has everything for the new age man. Showstoppers Shahid Kapoor and Disha Patani strutted down the runway in all black ensembles looking glamorous, to say the least. 

Rajesh Pratap Singh 

The collection ‘Welcome to the jungle’ brought Tencel sustainable fibers and yarns to the country with a contemporary twist. Staying true to the theme, the menswear line had botanical motifs in light and dark hues with Rajkummar Rao closing the show in an all-white sherwani and kurta. 

Kunal Rawal 

The designer known for his anti-trend approach showcased a fresh take on grooms wear this season. The collection had everything from sherwanis. jackets to bundi sets all in monotone hues and earthy shades. With Varun Dhawan walking the ramp in black painted nails and an anklet bracelet, The Kunal Rawal man was nothing short of fierce. 

Antar Agni by Ujjawal Dubey 

To break away from the conventional is what the collection stood for. With assymetric lines, metallic embroideries and subtle prints, the designer brought about festive wear that can easily be turned to everyday wear. The classic Antar Agni layered drapes were seen all throughout too. 

Two Point Two by Anvita Sharma 

Exaggerated silhouettes were seen making a comeback this season and agender designer house Two Point Two is to credit for it. The garments were layered with a variety of checks in all sizes. The exaggerated theme was extended to the bags too that were seen on the runway.

Jewellyn Alvares 

Venturing into menswear, designer Jewellyn Alvares with his collection ‘Converge’ took the fabric khadi for a spin with easy separates, shirts, tunics, coats, and jackets for men. Talking about the essence of ‘Converge’ Alvares explains that his collection takes inspiration from ‘I love a lonely winding road’ by Alora M.Knight pointing out how every winding road leaves you with an unexpected turn much like his collection that plays with the idea of lines. 

Punit Balana 

The designer debuted his menswear line with the cool and stylish Jim Sarbh as the showstopper. The collection of muted grey garments were in breathable fabrics with knotted belts on shirts and lace-up detailing on the pants. 

Siddhesh Chauhan 

The noteworthy origami textures were hard to miss in the designer’s collection. Taking inspiration from the Samurai warriors the collection embodies silhouettes for the modern day warriors looking to make a fashion statement. The capes and jackets played with different textures and cuts that were minimalist yet strong in appeal.
