Along with being a celebratory night for music, the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) was a fashion extravaganza in equal parts. It’s been the case since the inception of the award show. With no fashion rules to consider, celebrities let their guards down at the red carpet. The result? Some hit the mark while others, not so much. The men this year gave us many looks to ponder upon and hopefully even replicate. Diplo, the man who optimised cowboy-style on the red carpet, was back with his signature look of the moment. Whereas, Joe Jonas looked sharp in his double-breasted suit. In classic Joe way, he kept in casual with a t-shirt underneath. Talking of not keeping it casual, Lil Nas X stole the thunder in a sequin suit. We love the lace detailing underneath. DJ Khalid took to florals while Marc Jacobs turned showstopper in flared pants, making us want to take to it.
