Traditional Menswear Label Tasva Unveils Its AW23 Campaign

Trust visionary couturier and stalwart designer Tarun Tahiliani to put out ethnic menswear for Autumn Winter 2023 that seamlessly blends traditional silhouettes with modern trimmings. For his label Tasva, with Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Ltd., the designer looks towards the cultured and modern Indian man, who enjoys the finer things in life and dresses according to the part. Case in point, breezy kurta sets, impeccably tailored sherwanis, elegant achkans, opulent dinner jackets and versatile fusion ensembles that make up the rich collection.  

 

 

Inspired by the changing dynamic of men’s fashion in the Indian social landscape, the extensive collection offers something for every man. It borrows from the old and embraces the new. Local artisanal craftsmanship is topped up with modern details for a mix of classy and cool. Architectural, floral and fauna motifs line the silhouettes for a burst of freshness to take you through this wedding season and beyond.  

 

To further highlight its dedication to cultural glory, Tasva has roped in Ranbir Kapoor and Ananya Pandey as brand ambassadors for its campaign that’s aptly titled, ‘Your Special Day Deserves a Tasva’. “Ranbir and Ananya, with their great on-screen chemistry, perfectly portray today’s young generation which is increasingly taking charge while staying true to their roots. The campaign is a continuation of TASVA’s commitment to and celebration of the modern Indian man, who has redefined how he sees himself. In a TV commercial, the actors embody the playfulness, larger-than-life appeal and high-spiritedness of Indian weddings today. It breaks the notion that men stay away from wedding planning and only watch from the sidelines. Instead, the addictive video invites the groom to take charge and be front and centre of the festivities, along with his partner.
