Not that you’re doing any of the hard work of kicking grass, the FIFA U17 World Cup 2017 attendees will need a break from sitting on those plastic stadium seats and park themselves at nice local digs to unwind. With five of them in play around the country, there are plenty options around the stadiums for you to kick back and relax. MW picks the five best places where your appetite’s capacity will be met.

Royal Rasoi – DY Patil stadium, Navi Mumbai

With delicious food, great ambience and an extremely friendly staff, Royal Rasoi is a perfect place to wine and dine. It’s not too far from the venue either, and is a quiet place which is good considering you’ll be subjected to a lot of noise in the stadium, anyway.

Price for two: Rs 2000 approx.

Where: Ground Floor, Haware Centurion Mall, Sector 19 A, Seawoods, Navi Mumbai

Qube – Salt Lake Stadium, Kolkata

Easy on the pocket, Qube is a solid place from across the stadium. The cocktails come high recommended than the usual drinks, so you have your tipple arranged, as well.

Price for two: Rs 1200 approx.

Where: Hotel The Sojourn, KB 23, Sector 3, Salt Lake

Cafe Hendrix – Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium, Guwahati

Guwahati is a pretty much laidback city so expect the nightlife to be the same. Cafe Hendrix is a chill blues bar with live music and Indian and Continental cuisines on the menu. So if you’re looking for a good time, Henrdrix will serve you up.

Price for two: Rs 800 approx.

Where: Opposite Pantaloons, Rukminigaon, Six Mile Area

Ek bar – Jawaharlal Nehru stadium, New Delhi

The famed AD Singh strikes again with hi outpost near Jawaharlal Nehru stadium, Ek Bar. The catch about this place is the cocktails are classic but come with a twist. The menu divided across four sections, naming each after the four suits of a deck of playing cards. The food is also as twisted as they come, with dishes like jhalmuri granola bar and more.

Though this place is recommended as one of the best breakfasts in the city, you can’t miss out on what the name of the restaurant itself says.
