ORANGE AND SPARKLING WINE SANGRIA,

• Sliced peaches

• Neutral spirit

HOW?

 

Soak fresh peaches in a neutral spirit overnight. Add everything else into the mix, for a cross between a bellini and a sangria.

HOW?

 

Here’s a sangria that is absolutely outrageous. Mix the flowers, balm and spices with the tea concoction. Strain and reserve for use. Mix the wine and brandy with the brewed tea. Pour it warm in the desired glass. Serve

 

it surrounded by burnt peppermint wood shavings with raspberry leather, stuffed with raspberry cream.

 

 

BEER SANGRIA,

• Jim Beam

 

• Fresh orange slices

 

• Fresh lime

 

• Fresh strawberries

 

• Apple juice

 

• Wheat beer

 

HOW?

 

Add all the ingredients into a big jug (or vat, depending on how big your party is) and top it up with the beer. Fresh orange slices make for a great garnish. Who knew sangria could be a game night drink?

 

 

COFFEE INFUSED SANGRIA,

• Any dry red

• Coffee beans

 

• Shot of brandy

 

• Triple sec

 

HOW?

 

Soak the fruit chunks and coffee beans in the wine overnight and add a shot of brandy and triple sec. Strain and serve.

HOW?

 

Caramelise the fruits with a blowtorch. Yes, it is a fun activity. Pour in the wine and the rest of the ingredients and shake. If you don’t want to chomp on the boozy fruit, double strain the concoction and garnish with kaffir lime leaves and thyme.
