Laal Singh Chaddha, an official adaptation of the multiple Oscar-winning Hollywood classic Forrest Gump which starred Tom Hanks, is among the most-anticipated films of 2022. 

Directed by Advait Chandan, the movie stars Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Naga Chaitanya in the lead roles. The film will release in theatres on August 11th.

Aamir Khan

Aamir Khan will be seen playing a Sikh guy in Laal Singh Chaddha. The actor has reportedly charged Rs 50 crores for the film. It is six times the fees taken by his co-star Kareena Kapoor Khan.

Kareena Kapoor Khan

Laal Singh Chaddha will be Kareena Kapoor Khan’s first film after the birth of Jehangir (Jeh) Ali Khan. She will be seen essaying the role of Manpreet Kaun Chaddha in the film. As per reports, the actor charged Rs 8 crores as fees.

Naga Chaitanya

Naga Chaitanya makes his Bollywood debut with this movie. He plays the pivotal role of a soldier named Nalaraju. For his role, the actor has taken Rs 6 crores.

Mona Singh

Mona Singh, who was last seen with Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor in 3 Idiots, will play Laal Singh Chaddha’s mother. As per reports, Mona doesn’t have scenes with Aamir and Kareena and will be only seen in flashback scenes. The actor has taken Rs 2 crore for her role.

Manav Vij

Manav Vij charged Rs 1 crore for Laal Singh Chaddha.
