The man who taught people about love through his songs, has everyone questioning his integrity at this moment. Adam Levine is currently in the eye of a storm, for an alleged affair with an Instagram model. For the uninitiated, Sumner Stroh sent the Internet into a tizzy when she spoke about her ‘affair’ with the pop star in detail and even dropped shocking ‘truths’ pertaining to the relationship. Maroon 5‘s frontman took no time, however, to address the rumors and accept his mistake.

The news of the torrid affair comes a little over a week after reports suggested that Levine and his wife, Behati Prinsloo are all set to welcome their third child together. Just then, out of the blue, Stroh enthused about how the singer wanted to name the baby after her, and used it as an excuse to slide into her DMS. The 43-year-old pop sensation issued a statement, admitting that he ‘crossed the line’ while he was married to Prinsloo. 

“A lot is being said about me right now and I want to clear the air. I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner. I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period in my life,” averred the singer.

Levine further continued, “In certain instances it became inappropriate; I have addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family. My wife and my family are all I care about in this world. To be this naive and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make. I will never make it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it. And we will get through it together.”

For everyone who is not already aware of the drama, Stroh shared a video on TikTok earlier saying, “I was having an affair with a man who’s married to a Victoria’s Secret model. At the time I was young, I was naive. Adam and I were seeing each other for about a year, after I stopped talking to him over a period of months, this is how he came back into my life,” she continued. She then went on to show Levine’s messages where he asked her if it was okay with her if he names his unborn baby after her.

Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo got married on July 19, 2014, after dating for two years. They welcomed their first child, Dusty Rose, on September 21, 2016. Their second child, Gio Grace, was born on February 15, 2018. The couple is expecting their third child together.
