Disney’s live-action remake of the much loved Aladdin has got a lot of people talking – but not in a good way. While the actors slated to play Aladdin and Jasmine are good looking enough, they appear to lack the je ne sais quoi that made the much loved Disney couple stand out. People are happy with the dude playing Jafar, though. Apparently, he’s super hot.

When reports emerged that Will Smith would play the role of Genie, people heaved a sigh of relief because anything with Smith in it is going to be good, right? Not. The trailer of the film featuring Smith in a shade of disgusting blue has triggered an onslaught of internet trolling.

With the shit-show it appears to be currently, we decided to envision Aladdin as it would have been directed and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Rest assured, it would definitely be a visual orgasm if nothing else.

Fawad Khan as Aladdin

Because: Look at him. Just look at him.

Mahira Khan as Princess Jasmine

Because: We were in two minds and wanted Priyanka Chopra to play the role but Chopra would play Jafar better than Jasmine.

Vidyut Jammwal as Genie

Because: This doesn’t make a lot of sense but we’d like to see a shirtless Jammwal in blue.

Rishi Kapoor as Sultan

Because: The resemblance is uncanny.

Arjun Rampal as Jafar

Because: During our research, we discovered that Rampal has had his fair share of negative roles. Plus, if Disney’s version of Jafar can be hot, so can ours.
