Following her debut last year in Shashank Khaitan’s Dhadak, actress Janhvi Kapoor refrained from signing many films in a rush. Kapoor, who was paired opposite Ishaan Khatter in the Sairat remake, had only given her nod for Takht and a Gunjan Saxena biopic. Both these films are being produced by Dharma Productions.

The biopic is based on Saxena who was one of the first women combat aviators to have entered the Kargil war zone in 1999. Filmfare reports that Angad Bedi will be starring opposite Kapoor in this venture.

The entertainment portal further reports that the actors will be shooting for the biopic in Lucknow, come April. Bedi and Kapoor will also be recreating Anil Kapoor’s hit track One Two Ka Four in the film, reports Filmfare. The film has been tentatively titled Kargil Girl.
