Monday blues actually came to life today as Arjun Rampal and Mehr Jesia announced their separation after 20 years of marriage.

Rumors about the couples break up have been doing the rounds over the past few months, but the duo finally made their separation official with a combined statement on Monday.

The statement read, “After a 20-year-long beautiful journey filled with love and beautiful memories, we would like to share, that all journeys have different paths. We feel that it is time for us to move on to different destinations henceforth.We have always been solid when it has come to us, we will continue to be solid for each other and our loved ones, as we embark upon a new journey.”

The couple further added that their love for each other and their families will forever stay intact and they will always be there for each other and their children.

Arjun and Mehr got married in 1998 and they have two daughters Mahikaa (16) and Myra (13).
