Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson became proud parents to their second child via a surrogate. While surrogacy has been around for decades in the west, it has also been getting widespread acceptance in India lately. Here’s a list of Bollywood celebrity couples who’re been strong advocators of the trend.

Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra 

Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra are parents of two kids, a son, and a daughter. Their son Viaan turned 10 years old in 2022. In the year 2020, they welcomed their second child through surrogacy. They named their daughter Samisha. The couple keeps sharing glimpses of their kids on social media.  

Sohail Khan and Seema Khan

Just like the Kundras, Sohail Khan and Seema Khan welcomed their second son Yohan through surrogacy in June 2011. They have a son named Nirvaan. After he turned 10, they decided to have a second child.  

Sunny Leone and Daniel Webber  

The power couple first adopted a girl from the Latur village in Maharastra named Nisha in 2017. Then in 2018, they announced that they are going to have twin boys from surrogacy, and named them Asher and Noah. The actress keeps posting about their fun banter on her social media account.  

Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick  

The couple got married in 1997. Parker gave birth to their first child in 2002 and named him James Wilkie. Then, in 2009, the couple became parents to twin daughters and named them Marion Loretta Elwell and Tabitha Hodge.  

Ricky Martin and Jwan Yosef 

This couple share 4 kids. In 2008, Martin welcomed twin sons who were named Matteo and Valentino. In 2017, he reportedly tied the knot with Jwan Yosef and welcomed their first child, a daughter named Lucia in 2018, followed by a son named Renn in 2019.  

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban  

The couple became parents for the first time in 2008, when Kidman gave birth to a baby girl named Sunday Rose. In 2010, after much speculation, they announced the arrival of their second child through a gestational carrier. They named her Faith Margaret.
