Anushka Sharma and Aamir Khan’s film, PK, was a massive hit amongst the audience. The actress was lauded for her acting, and people loved her camaraderie with Khan. However, this was not the first film that Sharma had tried to collaborate on with Khan. The actress had also auditioned for Kareena Kapoor Khan’s role in 3 Idiots.

While promoting for PK in 2014, Sharma had posted a video talking about this audition that she gave for Rajkumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots. The same video has now surfaced online, and is going viral on the internet. In the video, you can see the actress in her PK character, talking about giving an audition for the Aamir Khan – Rajkumar Hirani film.

The video featured a glimpse of her audition tape as well, where you can see the Sultan actress delivering a dialogue from Hirani’s film, Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. She goes on to show the clip to her director and co-star, who are seen laughing and getting shocked by it. The actress is herself embarrassed and is seen laughing with the duo.

Sharma had revealed that Rajkumar Hirani never saw the audition tape before, and neither was Khan aware of it. “I had auditioned for a lead role in a film in 2007. And, that film was 3 Idiots. No one knows it, no one watched the audition. You have not watched it, Raju sir has not watched it,” the actress said in the video.

Anushka Sharma, who was last seen in Zero, has taken a break from work to spend time with her daughter, Vamika. She is also set to open up an animal shelter on the outskirts of Mumbai. According to Filmfare, a well-placed source says, “If all things go as per plan, Sharma’s shelter will be ready for operations sometime next year! Work on the shelter has resumed again after the coronavirus pandemic had forced all operations to be temporarily postponed. She wants to build a state of the art animal shelter, a first of its kind in India and she is leaving no stone unturned to ensure this happens.”
