There might be a lot of problems in this world – wars, kidnapping, poverty, etc. but the one feeling that still keeps us alive and helps us believe that the world is not so bad after all is love. As the lyrics go in the song City Of Stars from La La Land, love indeed is all we need. 

“Yes, all we’re looking for is love from someone else.

A rush, a glance,  a touch, a dance,

A look in somebody’s eyes,

To light up the skies,

To open the world and send it reeling,

And you’ll be alright.” 

Over the years, there have been some amazing romantic comedies both in India and abroad. They tell us stories of heartbreaks, give us some heart-melting conversations and basically serve as a guidebook for an ideal romantic relationship. In most rom-coms, as in life, there is an Act 2, which means that there are hard times that every relationship has to go through. These times test how strong the foundation is, and if a couple can emerge unscathed, their love is stronger for it. 

If you’re planning a perfect Valentine’s Day, it makes a lot of sense to include a 2-hour movie somewhere. Whether it be that afternoon time before you head out to some nice place in the evening, or be it that night time cozying up just before you go to sleep. You can even binge watch all five of these, because hey, is there anything more romantic than watching a romantic movie while resting your head in your lover’s shoulders. You can laugh, you can cry and you can also pause in between to discuss something the characters are saying. After all, these movies might just stir up a crucial conversation. Whatever it is, watch these trailers and make the right choice.
