One of the most humble and lovable couples of B-Town has to be that Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa. The two have been dating each other for over a decade, and rumour has it that the couple will be finally tying the knot today (November 15). While the lovebirds have been mum about their wedding details, it is being said that the duo has flown to Chandigarh to finally take the plunge.

But before the two lovebirds tie the knot, we should definitely take a look at their relationship’s time. From working on a film together to getting papped by the shutterbugs, the two have been very private about their relationship. Rao has quite often talked about his equation with the actress, but we only know about their relationship only to an extent.
Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa have been dating each other for 11 years. The two confirmed their relationship in 2019 when the actress gave an interview to Humans of Bombay. She narrated the story of how she first saw Rao in the film Love Sex Aur Dhoka and revealed that she thought he was a weird person. Rao, on the other hand, revealed how he saw her in an ad on TV and decided to get married to her then and there.
“I saw him for the first time in LSD. I thought the weird guy he played was actually what he was like. My perception of him was tarnished! He told me later, that he first saw me in an ad & thought, ‘I’m going to marry her.’ It was so ironic!”, she said.
She further added, “Once we began working together–it was magic. The kind of passion he had was powerful & I couldn’t respect him any more than I did then! We spoke about our work, love for cinema, passions… I saw him through his struggles, never giving up. How could we not fall for each other?”
“Once he was late to see me, so he ran all the way from the airport to Juhu! Not only that, but when we weren’t earning much, he gifted me my favourite bag–it was so expensive! Years later, someone stole it in London! I called him sobbing–for me, it was about the memories.
He’d bought it for me when he didn’t have much. Later, at our hotel, the exact same bag was waiting for me. These little things make me realise how lucky I am for him. And the best part is, he always says he’s the lucky one. Isn’t that what a relationship needs? To remind each other how grateful we are?,” she told Humans of Bombay, and rest is history.
