The Neerja actress was trolled for sharing this picture on her Instagram earlier today. Featuring fellow actress Anushka Sharma, who she joined on the sets of the Sanjay Dutt biopic, the image has Sonam wearing a floral spaghetti-strap day dress through which her cleavage is visible.

 

 

You and I might not think of it as something pathbreaking but it didn’t take long for the internet watchdogs to pounce on the plunging necklines. After all, how can a girl dress up however she wants to?

 

 

On the other hand, Anushka was not on the receiving end of this nonsense because she was dressed ‘appropriately’ for them.

But there were also a few fans like this one who expertly shut these bags of bullcrap. We completely agree that breasts are 100 percent natural and a girl has complete rights to flaunt her body as much as a man does to go shirtless in public.

 

 

We whole-heartedly appreciate the strength and integrity that both Sonam and Anushka have displayed in flaunting however much skin that they wanted to, on screen or off it.

 

 

And will continue to do so, because it’s definitely not sanskaari to slutshame a girl for wearing whatever she wants to; that too on her own Instagram page!

 

 

So dear trolls, you know what to do with your ‘sanskaars.’ Roll them and shove…
