Vicky Kaushal has become a household name in no time. His journey from Masaan to Sardar Udham has been nothing but an example of hard work and excellence. The actor has proved his merit and is now one of the most bankable names in the industry.
But all the fame and recognition did not just land into his lap just like that. The actor has been training in acting for a long time, 13 years now to be precise. And a video of him from his acting school days is now going viral. It all started when Shireen Mirza, Kaushal’s friend from acting school, took to Instagram to share a throwback video. The two of them are seen enacting a dramatic skit in the viral video.
Mirza shared the video on her fans’ demand. They wanted to see a picture or video of her with Vicky. She posted the video on the Instagram story and wrote, “Jab hum chote bachhe the (when we used to be kids), folding hands already for posting this ha ha ha,” and added laughing emojis. Reacting to the same, Kaushal replied to the story saying, “Good old acting school days (2009).”

Vicky Kaushal was studying engineering when he decided to join Kishore Namit Kapoor’s academy to learn acting. His career kickstarted with him assisting filmmaker Anurag Kashyap in Gangs of Wasseypur. He also played many cameo roles in Kashyap’s films. The actor finally made his debut in 2015 with Masaan.
Talking about his entry in Bollywood, Kauhsal once said, :I was doing bit roles in theatre, and sometimes, I was only making the opening announcement. But I was enjoying myself. At the same time, I would go for multiple auditions. I would make it till the final round, and then something would not work out. This went on for months, before Zubaan (2015) and Masaan happened.” He is now working on Laxman Utekar’s untitled film alongside Sara Ali Khan.
