Deepika Padukone has always picked up roles that are unconventional, inspiring and difficult to essay on the big screen. Every role that Padukone has essayed earlier, the actress has done justice to it, while also making the audience fall for her acting chops each time. The actress might be taking up another intriguing project and here is why we think it is a biopic on PV Sindhu.

Sindhu has often made India proud with her game. The 27-year-old badminton player scripted history at the Tokyo Olympics when she became the second Indian and the country’s first woman to win two Olympic medals. In the past as well, the sportswoman has put our country on the top via her top performance. The badminton maestro sure deserves a biopic and Padukone might be preparing for it.
The first hint could be the recent meeting that took place. Post her return from the Olympics, Sindhu, Padukone and her husband Ranveer Singh were snapped having dinner together. A few days after that, the Chhapaak actress posted a picture of herself post a badminton session. She captioned it as, “The post 🏸 glow!”
Sindhu even dropped a comment on her post asking how many calories did she burn to get such a glow. This could be Padukone prepping for the role.

Apart from this, Deepika Padukone has multiple projects lined up. She will be starring with Singh in Kabir Khan’s ‘83. She also has a Shakun Batra’s untitled movie lined up where she will be seen with Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi. She will also be seen in Siddharth Anand’s Fighter in which she will star opposite Hrithik Roshan. The star will also be reuniting with Shah Rukh Khan in Pathan which will also star John Abraham in the lead role. She also has the Intern remake with Amitabh Bachchan in the pipeline.
The actress has also joined forces with STXfilms, a division of Eros STX Global Corporation, for a cross-cultural romantic comedy. The actress will essay the lead role in the film and will also be producing this venture under her Ka Productions banner. Commenting on new project, Padukone shared in a statement, “Ka Productions was founded with the aim to develop and produce purposeful content with global appeal. I’m thrilled to be partnering with STXfilms and Temple Hill Productions, who share Ka’s ambition and creative vision and look forward to bringing impactful and dynamic cross-cultural stories to the world.”
