Apart from this, Kapoor’s younger sister and late actress, Sridevi’s daughter, Khushi Kapoor is set to follow in her sister’s footsteps and make her debut in Bollywood soon. Her father, Boney Kapoor confirmed the news of her debut and stated that Khushi Kapoor is interested in joining the film industry and that we can expect to “hear an announcement soon”. However, the renowned producer will not be launching his daughter because “one tends to get indulgent”.

As for Janhvi Kapoor, she had made her debut opposite Ishaan Khatter in Dhadak, which was a remake of the Marathi film, Sairat. The film was heavily criticised for removing pertinent portions of the Marathi film which made Sairat what it was. The actress went on to star in Dharma Productions’ Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, which also starred Pankaj Tripathi and Angad Bedi.

She was now seen in Karan Johar-directed Takht, Good Luck Jerry and Dharma Productions’ Dostana 2 lined up.
