It’s safe to assume that Kangana Ranaut isn’t one to mince her words and she doesn’t miss a chance to take a jibe at fellow Bollywood stars. The unapologetically brash Ranaut has had Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar and Deepika Padukone in the crosshairs, but Shah Rukh Khan has often been the target of her comments.

The Queen actress has often talked poorly about the superstar, and she did the very same thing in the trailer of her new show, Lock Upp. The actress will host the reality show that’s backed by Ekta Kapoor. The participants will be celebrities, and they will get locked up by Ranaut. The trailer shows her in a bold avatar but it is the ending of the trailer that’ll leave you surprised.

The trailer begins with her walking with a shiny baton in her hand. She says, “I have faced haters who filed FIRs to me and used nepotism against me. They turned my life into a 24×7 reality show. But now it is my turn. Main laa rahi hoon, the baap of all reality shows. Yahan papa ke paiso se bhi bail nahi milegi.”

An indirect dig at Shah Rukh Khan, Ranaut is likely referring to Aryan Khan’s arrest in 2021. She had earlier given her opinion on the topic by sharing a collage of Jackie Chan and his son, in which the latter was being taken away by the cops in another. She had written, “Jackie Chan officially apologized when his son was arrested in a drug case in 2014! He said ‘I’m ashamed of son’s act, this is my failure and I will not intervene to protect him’ and after this, his son was jailed for 6 months and also apologized.” She added with a #JustSaying hashtag.
