Kanye West is annoyed with his fans as they think it was his wife Kim Kardashian’s idea to get divorced.

According to a Page Six source, the musician is “super annoyed that the story is being constantly presented as her divorcing him.” The insider also pointed out that part of this is due to the Kardashian family’s “huge spin machine” that controls how the KarJenners are perceived by the public.

As for how things actually played out, the source claimed that it was West who wanted to call it quits first. “Actually it was him saying for a year that they have nothing in common except the kids and he wanted out,” the source explained.

Kardashian, however, wasn’t willing to end their marriage without a proper fight. When that failed, West let Kardashian be the one to file for divorce first “in order to give her dignity,” the source added. According to the same sources, the couple has not stopped talking. “Even before Kim filed for divorce, Kanye changed his numbers and said, ‘You can contact me through my security,’” the source mentioned to Page Six. 

West’s bizarre 2020 presidential run was reported as “the last straw” for Kardashian, as reported by Page Six and that the rapper has “been sick of being involved with the Kardashians for a long while. Especially her mother Kris Jenner, who looms large in all big decisions she makes.”

Meanwhile, as per another source, “This isn’t about one thing. There are things that have accumulated over time and created distance between them.” Page Six also reported this week that West is already thinking about his next relationship after Kardashian. A source told us that West wants to next be with “an artist” who is a “creative person,” so they “can speak the same language together.”
