The reigning queen of Bollywood, Kareena Kapoor Khan recently graced the sets of Romedy Now’s latest show, The Love Laugh Live show. Hosted by Mirror Now anchor, Faye D’Souza, the show dealt with the life and times of Khan and her family – the charming Saif Ali Khan and Taimur Ali Khan.

Those who keep up with Bollywood news know that it was on the sets of the 2008 movie, Tashan that the Saifeena love story began. Khan has revealed that she had made the first move and that Saif was stunned that the Kareena Kapoor Khan was not only interested in him but was actually taking the initiative to ask him out.

Since then, the couple has enjoyed a whirlwind romance with everything they do being plastered all over the newspapers. Khan’s son, Taimur is also quite a celebrity in his own right with every appearance of his being religiously covered by the paparazzi.

On the show, Khan revealed that the one habit of Saif’s that really annoys her is that his go-to response to anything she says is “no”.

“His first instant reaction to anything is ‘No’. I’m like ‘Saif, what to do you want to do? Should we like try and step out?’. His reaction is, ‘No’. ‘Can I like reupholster the sofa’. ‘No’. And then suddenly three hours later he messages me an say ‘Yeah, I think you should reupholster the sofa.’ So I’m like ‘when I’m telling you why do you always say no’. I think that’s just like a thing. He has to say no first and then he kinda comes around,” she said.

The actress also revealed that Saif is an avid reader and that their house is covered with artwork and books. No surprises there. He also seems to have rubbed off on Kareena considering that in an interview with MW, she revealed how her favourite song is Sinnerman by Nina Simone and that she would love to raid Audrey Hepburn’s wardrobe.

Kareena’s husband also cooks about three times a week and that a glass of wine is always present when they catch up.

“An average evening is always like he is reading, lots of candles are lit. Our dinner’s always early, we like to eat in early so like by 7:30 or 8. In fact 3 times a week, he will be like, let’s cook, let’s have a bottle of wine and chat and that’s our kind of catchup with Taimur running around. We are playing with him and sitting,” she said on the show.

She also revealed that Taimur always keeps asking where his father is. “He keeps asking (imitating the kid’s voice) Abba Kidhar Hai, Abba Kidhar Hai’…like ten times in a day he keeps asking Abba Kidhar Hai. I’m like he is in the bathroom!”

And, of course, we all know that Khan and gang (Karan Johar, Malaika Arora Khan, Amrita Arora) have a Whatsapp group called Guts. “I have an exclusive WhatsApp group which is all about judging people on what they wear and the name of the group is ‘Guts’. People have such guts to carry off their outfits is what I and my best friends talk on this group. And I think this is exactly what is the beauty of friendship. You can discuss anything with them without any filter,” Kareena had earlier said, according to The Hindustan Times.
