Kevin Hart and Chris Rock are currently touring different cities for the Rock Hart: Only Headliners Allowed Tour. The two performed at Madison Square Garden in New York City recently. Poking fun at the controversial Oscar slap, Hart mocked Rock and gifted him a goat that had a special name. Guest performer, Dave Chappelle and Hart had a great time taking Rock’s case. 

A video from the incident shows the three comedian onstage along with a goat on a leash. “You have to keep the goat. I bought you the fucking goat,” Hart says. “I have an apartment, Kevin. They barely let niggas in there,” Rock replies. Chappelle then asks Chris what is he going to name the animal. Hart announces that the goat already has a name. “The name is Will Smith,” Hart reveals, making the crowd burst out in laughter.

For the uninitiated, Rock was slapped by Smith on live television back in March at the 2022 Oscars. Rock had cracked a joke about Smith’s wife, which enraged Smith, leading him to act furiously. Hart said that the goat was a homage to this incident. 

Smith was heavily criticised for his reaction. He has also reportedly been banned from attending the Academy Awards for the next decade. “Violence in all of its forms is poisonous and destructive,” he wrote in a statement that he posted on social media. “My behaviour at last night’s Academy Awards was unacceptable and inexcusable. Jokes at my expense are a part of the job, but a joke about Jada’s medical condition was too much for me to bear and I reacted emotionally.”
