Kevin Spacey was accused of sexual misconduct during Hollywood’s 2019 #MeToo wave, after which his career went for a toss. Spacey was seen in a lesser number of projects, and was even removed from some of the biggest films and shows. He was last seen in 2018’s Billionaire Boys Club, and now after two years from the incident, the actor has finally signed his first project.

Spacey is set to make a movie comeback with the Italian independent project titled, L’uomo Che Disegno Dio. The low-budget film is directed by Franco Nero, and the actor is all set to play the role of a police detective in the film. The film’s producer, Louis Nero, revealed that the actor will have a small role in the film, and Franco Nero will be seen in the lead role.

Vanessa Redgrave, Franco Nero’s wife, has written the story of the film which follows “the rise and fall of a blind artist who has the extraordinary gift of making true-to-life portraits just by listening to human voices,” reported Variety.

Talking about the allegation of sexual misconduct against Kevin Spacey, it all started when Anthony Rapp alleged that the actor behaved inappropriately with him when he was 14 years old. The actor was fired from his lead role in Netflix’s House of Cards in November 2017 after these allegations.

After Rapp’s revelations, as many as 20 men working with the Old Vic, the London Theatre at which Spacey was the artistic director, stepped forward to talk about how the actor has behaved inappropriately with them as well. Reacting to these claims, Spacey issued a statement where he said he had no memory of the incident that Rapp is talking about. He, however, apologised for what would have been deeply inappropriate drunken behaviour. He also came out as gay in the statement.
