Lady Gaga is such a fucking icon. After a fabulous VMAs performance where she stunned with her assortment of masks, the musician-actress will now star alongside Adam Driver in MGM’s Gucci.
Gaga will star as Patrizia Reggiani, the ex-wife of Maurizio Gucci who was tried and convicted of orchestrating his assassination in 1995. Reggiani served 18 years in jail before being let out in 2016.
The Gucci murder tale is scripted by Roberto Bentivegna, based on Sara Gay Forden’s book The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed, reports Deadline.

This will be Gaga’s first project post her star turn in 2018’s A Star Is Born. Not only did she score a Best Actress nomination at the Academy Awards but also won the Oscar for writing the song, Shallow.
