Netflix recently announced its summer 2021 release slate, and seeing the lineup, we are sure that our summers are sorted. With the current situation in our country, watching movies on streaming platforms like Netflix can help you keep your mind off of the negativity, and indulge in awesome universes created by film-makers. Netflix announced that it will be releasing 17 films in the summer of 2021. From Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead to The Kissing Booth 3, there are many films from different genres for you to enjoy.

The Woman in the Window
Starring Amy Adams, Gary Oldman, Anthony Mackie, Fred Hechinger, Wyatt Russell, Brian Tyree Henry, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Julianne Moore in lead, the film is a chilling psychological thriller. Directed by Joe Wright, The Woman in the Window revolves around an agoraphobic woman who spies on her new neighbours. She witnesses an act of violence in their house, after which her life is turned into hell. The film will be releasing on May 14.
Army Of The Dead
After giving us the amazing, Justice League: Snyder’s Cut, the film-maker is all set to treat his fans with Army Of The Dead. The film will chronicle the story of a group of heisters, who plan the greatest heist ever attempted, while a zombies outbreak spreads in Las Vegas. The film will see Huma Qureshi in a key role as well. The film releases on May 21.
Vivo
Sony Pictures Animation is weaving magic with its new animated movie Vivo. This is one of the five animated movies that will be premiering on Netflix. The movie will feature a piece of new music by Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda. Vivo will be releasing on Netflix on June 3.

A story hailing from India, Prerna is a very passionate skateboarding artist. With her hard work and talent, she makes it to the national championship. How she did it, that is what Skater Girl will be all about. The film will premiere on June 11.
The Kissing Booth 3
The Kissing Booth franchise has been one of the most successful franchises of Netflix. The film will bring back Elle and Noah, and this time in The Kissing Booth 3, Elle will have to choose between joining her boyfriend Noah at Harvard or joining her best friend Lee at Berkeley. The film is releasing on August 11.
