It’s official—Kiara Advani is now a part of the Don-verse, and will be seen opposite Ranveer Singh in the forthcoming Don 3. While the details pertaining to her role in the movie has been kept under wraps, we’re quite excited to see how things pan out here. More so, because the movie also marks the first time where Singh and Advani will be sharing screen space. On that note, we’ve taken a lot at a volley of unlikely on-screen pairs to keep an eye out for this year: 

1. Pooja Hegde and Shahid Kapoor in Deva

Pooja Hegde will be joining forces with Shahid Kapoor in Roshan Andrew’s upcoming drama, which centers on a diligent police officer (Kapoor) who gets embroiled in a series of untoward situations as he deep dives into a high-profile case that entails more than what meets the eye. 

2. Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna in Chaava

Vicky Kaushal embarks on another project this year with his Zara Hatke Zara Bachke director, Laxman Utekar, for Chaava. The movie will see him paired with the Animal actress Rashmika Mandanna. While a lot of things about Chaava remain under wraps, grapevine has it that the movie is scheduled for a December release in 2024.

3. Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Ulja Jiya 

TBMAUJ might have garnered lukewarm reviews, but the movie’s peppy tracks continue to remain at the top of the charts. The movie sees Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor in lead roles, shouldering a rather unique narrative of an average Indian man who falls head over heels in love with a robot in the times of ai. 

4. Sidharth Malhotra And Disha Patani in Yodha

Sidharth Malhotra’s upcoming action thriller, Yodha is slated to hit the big screen on March 15, 2024. The movie sees him portraying the role of a commando and the trailer is already winning hearts. The film features Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna as the female leads. The movie marks the unlikely or may we say a surprise pairing of Sid and Disha. 

5. Mrunal Thakur and Vijay Deverakonda in Family Star

You’ve probably seen the poster of Family Star on Deverakonda’s Instagram feed. The movie has already created quite a buzz, and the unlikely pairing of Mrunal Thakur and Vijay happens to be one of them. While there’s been a postponement of the movie’s release, credible sources have suggested that Family Star will now be released in March. 

6. NTR Jr and Janhvi Kapoor in Devara 

Janhvi Kapoor’s South connect finally makes it to the big screen. The svelte actress will be making her Telegu debut this year with Devara: Part 1, and is paired opposite Jr NTR in the action drama. The movie is scheduled to release on April 5, 2024.
