The Rs 200 crore money extortion case against conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar involving two high-profile names of actresses Nora Fatehi and Jacqueline Fernandez, has taken a new turn now. As reported by an Indian publication, it has been revealed that as per the statements given by these two actress there have been new additions to the chargesheet that is being filed. They have become witnesses in the case and it has been said that a charge against Pinky Irani has been filed who allegedly introduced Fatehi and Fernandez to the conman. 

These statements were filed in the chargesheet in front of additional sessions judge Shailender Malik. In Fatehi’s statement, she mentioned that Chandrashekhar had promised her that he will take care of her if she becomes his girlfriend. She also said that Irani told her that Fernandez is also in line but Chandrashekhar wants her. “Initially, I did not know who Sukesh was. Later, I thought he used to work at a company called LS Corporation. I neither had any personal contact nor did I ever have any conversations with him,” she added. It was after the news broke that she got to know that what hit her. She met him at the ED office when she was summoned to go there.  

On the other hand, Fernandez said that he misled her and ruined her career. But having said this in the initial days, she didn’t know about anything and even used his private jet to go to Kerela and Chennai. They regularly used to chat on video calls and spoke till August 8, 2021.  

The third statement was recorded by actress Nikki Tamboli who stated that the conman had forced her to put up Instagram stories, labelling him as her boyfriend. She met him in the Tihar Jail in April, 2018. She revealed that no security checks happened and no identity cards were asked to be shown at the jail. Instead, policemen escorted her to the cell where he was lodged. She added in her statement that she was gifted a Gucci bag and he also gave her 2 lakh rupees inside the jail.  

For the unversed, Chandrashekhar is in jail for a money extortion case of Rs 200 crore, having duped high profile people like Fortis Healthcare’s Shivinder Mohan Singh’s wife Aditi Singh, among others.
