After the 2022 Oscars set social media on fire about a week ago, award season continues in full-swing with the (relatively uneventful) 2022 Grammy Awards, kicking off from Las Vegas.

This year’s awards were held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, and saw exciting performances from the likes of BTS, Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish and more, as The Daily Show star Trevor Noah kicked off the event – not forgetting to bring up the recent Will Smith Oscars debacle.

Apart from the 86-odd awards up for grabs at this year’s ceremony, guests – specifically nominees and performers – will be able to take home an enviable set of goodies 

What’s In The Box?

For twenty two years, every Grammy gift bag has been curated, sealed, and signed off by Distinctive Assets – a ‘niche’ marketing firm based out of LA that has close ties to the entertainment industry.

This time, the gifts were handed out at TopGolf Las Vegas, at a free-for-all lounge where guests could pick and choose gifts as they wished. That said, the nominees also received the customary preassembled Grammy gift box – stuffed with a massive 60+ items.

With the event hosted by Miage Skincare, it’s no surprise that plenty of the box’s gift items are skincare-related. 

For starters, Miage themselves offered a five-piece set featuring the Bloom La Milpa Lip Treatment, Awakened Isotonic Eye Elixir, Manifest Day lotion, Clarity Purifying Wash, and the Invoke Night Cream.

These were followed by Bathslut’s luxurious top-quality bubble baths, British M Hair Butter, Color Street’s nail strips, and more.

Presenters and performers will also receive the Ceek Virtual Reality Headset – which connects to your smartphone to provide high definition, 360 degree immersion – paired with fully adjustable straps and a lightweight build. 

They even come with a special app that displays behind-the-scenes content featuring Lady Gaga, Ziggy Marley, Demi Lovato, and more.

The list goes on, including everything from Opopop’s gourmet popcorn to squishy toys, eyewear, and ethically-sourced chai – although two items in particular might raise some eyebrows – more literally than you think.

This year’s guests have the opportunity to receive two different gift appointments at plastic surgeons. The first one is Dr. Thomas Su’s Art Lipo, offering a ‘Celebrity ArmsTM Sculpting’ procedure, which gives its recipients more toned arms. 

The second is Dr. Konstantin Vasyukevich’s $10,000 voucher – which gives guests the option of chemical peels, laser skin resurfacing, and Botox procedures.
