The first episode of Koffee With Karan Season 7 featured Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh as guests. The two actors will be soon seen in the film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. While Singh was his usual bustling-with-energy self, Bhatt’s presence too was delightful to watch, especially with all the beans she spilled about her personal life. 

How Ranbir Proposed To Alia

Alia disclosed that Ranbir Kapoor had proposed to her in the middle of the jungle during their trip to Maasai Mara National Park in Kenya. She didn’t have the slightest clue about Kapoor’s plans. It wasn’t an elaborate affair but an intimate setting, just the way the couple likes it. She further added that she would have never thought that the moment will become such a magical one.  

Intricacies of Alia’s Wedding Ring 

So, if you think that Bhatt’s wedding ring is just a big diamond, then that is not the case. A lot of thought went into it when the ring was being finalised. She said that her ring is extremely special and close to her heart. It is engraved with the philosophy of their relationship. ‘Mrs Hipster’ is engraved on the ring and every letter means something, which she chose not to reveal.

Suhaagraat Is A Myth 

When Johar asked her to talk about one myth about marriage which was busted after she tied the knot, Bhatt promptly answered that Suhaagraat is the biggest myth. There is no such as thing as a wedding night because everyone is tired.  

How The Couple Spent The Day Of Their Wedding

On the day of their marriage, the two had lunch together. Then before parting ways to get ready for the big event, they shook hands and bid goodbye to being boyfriend and girlfriend.  

On Being Friends With Kapoor’s Exes 

Before Bhatt, Kapoor had dated Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif. While people are generally not comfortable being friends with their partner’s exes, when asked about it, Bhatt replied rather maturely. She said that she is good friends with both of his exes and they share a relationship of mutual respect and admiration.

How Alia Adjusted To the Kapoor family

Johar asked Bhatt about how she was adapting to her new life with her in-laws. She said that in her family it was always her parents, and sister but here there were a lot of people, who like doing things together. She went on to elaborate how it had added a whole new layer to her life.
